Tata Motors Hits Brakes on Low Prices: Commercial Vehicles Prices Up 2% from July
Tata Motors, a leading Indian commercial vehicle manufacturer, is raising prices by up to 2% across its entire commercial vehicle range starting July 1st, 2024. This decision comes in response to the ongoing challenge of rising commodity prices.Â
The price adjustment will affect the entire spectrum of commercial vehicles offered by Tata Motors, with specific increases varying depending upon the model and variant.
Despite the hike, Tata Motors recently reported a 2% year-over-year increase in commercial vehicle sales for May 2024, reaching 29,691 units. However, the sales breakdown revealed mixed results within the truck category, with Heavy Commercial Vehicles (HCVs) experiencing a slight decline of 3% compared to May 2023.
